Lake Sumter Transmission

I called them in a bind and needed my transmission checked for leakage. We were going on a trip in 4 day’s and needed the car to be fixed. They were going to be busy but would try to fit me in. The office was kind and helpful and by my surprise was able to fix my car one day earlier than we expected, wow that was my wonderful experience and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I took my vehicle here because I did hear good things and was not sure of the problem thinking it might be the transmission. After the diagnostic inspection of my vehicle they determined my catalytic converter was clogged and causing issues with the sensors in the transmission! Thus no transmission needed they are very honest and helpful and I would recommend going to lake Sumter transmission for any of your auto needs.

Awesome shop. -Professional -Courteous -Prompt -Very reasonably priced. -Absolutely honest. Wouldn't take a transmission anywhere else if I could help it (especially being a transmission). Highly recommend to all. My parents live in one of the 55+ communities and I had them post LS Trans on the community board. Folks should know about this shop.

Really hope leaving this review won’t cause them to not fix my grandmas van that I picked up to drive to her house on Friday evening after getting a rebuilt transmission and didn’t make it from their shop in leesburg to wildwood before it was doing the same thing it did before it was took to the shop it was actually a lot worse, and now can’t get ahold of anyone till Monday is really frustrating. After reading all these reviews I just really wish my grandparents could’ve had the same experience. I also forgot about the radio won’t work anymore either it worked perfectly fine before it was picked up and took here and now it just says code on the screen and won’t work at all.
