Lake Sumter Transmission

I have been using Lake Sumter Transmission for about 30 years for routine transmission service and complete transmission rebuilds. Just recently had my current pickup serviced. Spoke with Brian at check-in who was very customer oriented and he took care of all my requests. I also got to talk to Bobby the owner and he also very knowledgable and friendly. They run a great shop and I will be back when I need service.

I went here a few years ago and should have left my review then but at the time I had a phone only and no internet. My car would jerk when shifting at about 35-40 mph. I thought I'd need a lot of transmission work. The Tech did a road test, put it on the lift and replaced a speed sensor. Good as new! I'm sure MOST places would have sold me a new transmission! I'm going back for new problem, wouldn't go any where else.

This was my first visit to Lake Sumter Transmission. Highly recommended by AAA. This company was very professional, my vehicle broke down at my home they where there in about 20 min picked up my car, did a diagnostic check called me right back to tell me the problem. They made the repair plus did a oil change for me. Had my car back the same day. Very well respected group of professionals. Curtious and price was perfect. I will no longer be taking my vehicle back to dealership at Phillips GMC. THANK YOU LAKE SUMTER TRANSMISSION. 😊👍
