Lake Sumter Transmission

Went for transmission repair they put brakes on and said they tested my car and could not not duplicate issue. Picked the car up and it was back to having the same. Issue I took it there for.

Well 3800.00 later and didn't even make it home with truck. My oil pump failed. If they would have test drove it ,they would have known it. So I can't tell you what kind of job they did on my transmission. My daughter and I will do oil pump and timing chain . Can't seem to find a trustworthy mechanic.

Ed was beyond helpful and friendly! I was also greeted by the most beautiful dog ever, giving the sence of a small business which I love. The mechanic was able to find the issues with transmission and engine. I was not pressured into anything, and I received honest advice from Ed. This is by far the best car shop I have been to. Outstanding service!

Rebuilt transmission and did an excellent job! I’m very pleased.

Not sure if I would recommend them. Paid almost 4000. For my GMC went to pick it up and didn't get 15 minutes down the road. My oil pump failed. New transmission. When I called Brian tells me,you didn't have a tag we really couldn't test drive it. Don't they have dealership tags ? I mean 15 minutes would have shown that oil pressure was bad. Now I had to tow it somewhere else to fix pump. Being a woman looking for repair shop total nightmare. Can't really trust anyone. Not sure how good transmission is til I get it back. 🙏🙏
