Extremely effective and effective. Customer service was second to none. The professionalism and knowledge of Service Advisor Ed Cihoski was superior to all. Transmission was overhauled in short order and is operating superbly. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing mechanical work on their automobile—totally satisfied.

Transmission was leaking fluid. It was fixed for $70.00 I was very happy with that!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Had some custom work done on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler and they went above and beyond. Did a re-gear and locking differentials on both front and rear. The techs knocked of out of the park. The Jeep runs great and is better than ever. Everything went exactly as Ed said it would. My regular mechanic said I needed my transmission rebuilt and referred me to a place that had terrible reviews, mostly from women. Being a woman, I did my own research and came across Lake Sumter Transmissions. Their reviews were current and had positive comments. I called and although they work by appointment, they told me to bring it in and they would work it in. Turns out my transmission was just fine! It was my rear brake rotor. I appreciated the communication I got from them about the progress and they had me back up and running in just a few days. I felt like they were honest and their prices were reasonable. I like that they can work on anything, even my old rusty Jeep! Now I have an appointment for the Miata bearings!

Lake Sumter transmission made a very difficult situation a lot easier. Ed was absolutely amazing. He kept us informed on every step and was very good explaining things to me in a way I could understand (it was my husband's truck, so I had no clue). I would definitely recommend and use them again!!
