I had a rebuilt transmission installed about a year ago by Lake Sumter and running great but just needed reassurance it was ok for a trip up north. They did a thorough exam driving 10 miles and everything was great all for free. They are the best!! Thanks

Will never deal with them again! Charged $282 for a diagnostic test and then results came back Dan K greatly discouraged me from have him send to my extended warranty company, Endurance, saying they were very time consuming and terrible to deal with thus giving me the opinion that he wouldn't "waste his time " submitting it for me. He then discouraged me from paying by check as he had to spend "his time" validating it. It was apparent to me that HE was more important than the customer! Thus I wasted over 2 hours and $282 of my money. I wouldn't trust this business if they employ people that value themselves more than the customer!

I’m sorry to hear that your recent visit didn’t meet your expectations, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Dan is a knowledgeable Service Advisor that has been with us a couple of years now, and I apologize if he came across as uncaring. We try to always educate our customers about the realities of Warranty Policies so they are not surprised when that company does not live up to expectations. Checks are never a problem but again our apologies for the impression you were left with. We try to never have a customer to leave feeling taken advantage of or unimportant, but sometimes our staff have bad days too. Thanks again for your honest review—it helps us improve.

Called to ask if they had seen any red flags on a car they had serviced under a past owner, that is now for sale at a small local car store in a different state. Young lady who answers the phones said, "We're not allowed to do that". You don't even know if you're "allowed" to do that or not. You just said that because you're miserable. If you were a happier person, you'd find out by asking your boss. And don't even give us a bullshit response that she "isn't allowed". This is a service that people do for each other in this industry -- I know; I work in it myself.

While you are technically correct that we could legally give out that information it is our company policy not to. If you are "in the business" there are avenues for you to see a vehicle history. We do report to CarFax and you can see the history there without me giving you my customers information. We hope you have a great day and understand our position on this matter.

Gave us an estimate in excess of $12,000.00 for a new transmission on our 2019 Ford Expedition. We went to an Orlando Ford dealer and paid $7800 for a NEW transmission with 3 year warranty. I had to wonder if they price gouge because they are in The Villages area?

In doing some homework on this we noticed that you gave Key Scales Ford in Leesburg the same review, with the same numbers. That is interesting to say the least. We tried to research you as a customer in our database but we had no success in matching your initials with customers in this time frame. We are not in The Villages but have lots of customers inside and outside of The Villages. We are a family owned business and our reputation speaks for itself . Taking advantage is not how we operate, if you are a real customer feel free to contact our office to discuss further.

Reply to Business: Yes, you and Key Scales Ford, which is just down the road from you did give us the same estimate of over $12000. I do have your paperwork (White, Ford Expedition 2019) estimate. Rush Ford in Orlando installed a new transmission - with a 3 year warranty, for $7,800. Big, big difference. I will locate your estimate and post it here so you know this was an actual customer experience but I know you have a record of it as it is computer generated, and your employee took our license plate and VIN number.
