Lake Sumter Transmission

Lake Sumter saved me from a complete transmission replacement! The Subaru service department took less than an hour to give me a $6000+ replacement estimate. Lake Sumter fixed it for $265! I got so lucky. Thank goodness I chose to get a second opinion!

My son was passing through Leesburg when returning from a fishing trip when his transmission failed. Ed and team really helped him in the investigation and repair of the transmission. It took a few weeks, but the truck runs great. My son is back on the road and going on other fishing trips. Lake Sumpter Transmission was a great shop to work with for this repair.

Excellent service and friendly people. Took my Jeep for an oil leak and they did a complete inspection to include liquids, lights, body, engine, transmission and they ID 2 additional issues that could had been a real problem later. As always I take my tired 320 k truck in for a service light on and oil change sure enough ST diagnosed the problem which turns out to be a thermostat problem , didn’t take a full day and no more lights on the dashboard. I think All the staff at ST are brilliant even my truck loves them 👍👏
